‍Junction 2023 is a weekend-long hackathon, where participants team up and create tech projects to the challenges set by our partner companies. The projects can range from physical prototypes to new games, software, and concepts. With their projects, participants also compete for winning prizes on a challenge, as well as the Main Prize of 20,000 EUR..

We mainly focus on the applicants’ skill sets and levels as well as motivation. We aim to maintain the diversity of applicants when choosing participants and value diverse skill sets and backgrounds within teams as well as the whole participant pool.

There are two hotel addresses you can choose from. Both are located in the very city center of Helsinki and it takes 30 minutes to walk to the event venue.
